“Canadian congeniality meets French sass”
Kathleen grew up in Canada’s french-speaking bastion of Québec City. Her Dublin-born father and Québecoise mother gifted her with two native languages, which in Canada can often lead to lifelong identity crisis issues. (See: Canadian History wikipedia).
During her time in Montreal, she worked amidst both the anglophone and francophone performance industries until her move to London in 2015. She has since settled down and changed her name to reflect the ties she now has to Spain and los Españoles.
In her artistic pursuits Kathleen has realised one thing: her irrepressible French-Canadian-ness, celtic spirit and ever-growing Spanish affinity have proven wonderfully harmonious- if perhaps a little perplexing at times.
